todays snow brought to you by Global Warming

<~~Conrad Road Lewisville

I know, they changed it to "climate change", but we think that's all a load of crap too. Anyway, yes we did get snow last nite (not as much as I would have liked) and this morning I called Cracker Barrel to see if they were open and off we went onto the snowy roads for breakfast and just a nice leisure ride around town to see the snow. I love this weather. We headed back home and found our mail person stuck in the middle of the road on a hill. She broke her tire cables and sat there and just spun her tires. TJ pulled her up the hill where she could drive away and head back to the main office. I didn't think of taking pictures of that until just now.

nothin' much

For the past several weeks we haven't done much of anything here. It's been very uneventful since we've both thrown or twisted our backs to the point of going to the Chiropractor. As Peanut would say "this sucks". I'm ready to start walking and get out hiking again, TJ not quite to that point yet, but he'll get there soon. His back was much worse than mine.

We did get to reconnect with a past host-student this month. Her name is Sohyun which was a real blessing to us. She plays the violin and is pretty good at it. We met her through Cindy and Annie Ou for those who know them. Any way, things pretty quiet around here and I'm ready to get busy again.

<~~~~sunrise from our deck last week and the colors are true to what I saw. Amazing!!

happy husband

TJ and his IWI (Israeli Weapons Industries) Jericho 941S .45 ACP. To some that translates blahblahblah blahblahblah. The place we go to hang with the donkey also has an area for target shooting. This was a good day for TJ, I think he smiled for 3 days.
