TAA DAAAAA

Since October of 2007 TJ has been grinding, wire-wheeling, metal cutting, metal fabricating & much more just about every night and every weekend. This is the end result and we are both very pleased.

Warm, quiet, peaceful

What makes this an almost perfect weekend. No work on Friday, temps in the high 60's low 70's with a light breeze, spending time with each other and going to the CRC http://www.carolinaraptorcenter.org/ and just about everything there has/having babies, tis' the season. This is a bald eagle eaglet a few weeks old. They have a black screen around the nesting area so the eagles and babies don't get freaked out so TJ held the camera up over the screening in the general direction of the nest box and taa daa, baby picture.

What would make it perfect was the completion of the jeep. TJ is working on putting it back together which we all know taking apart is faster than puttin' back together. I think it would go much faster if I would just leave him alone instead of ask him every hour "whatchadoin'?" But I do hope to have pics by the end of this weekend. We'll see. TJ is reinstalling the clutch linkage.

We received a mystery package and this was one of the items in it that we could not identify. Since it came from Japan and Naomi is home for spring break, we know now its use.

If it wasn't for the men and women in our military we would not have the freedom we do what we want to, when we want to. Move from state to state, purchase a home, walk the neighborhood anytime of the day, raise a family your way, open a business or read your bible in a public place. married 21 years and have survived military separation, stranded in Montana, in-laws, moves across country, buying a home, unemployment, job struggles, society madness and now...................the jeep renovations. Paintless is ready for rust proof, black is the rust proof and the green is the 1st coat of durabak. TJ has spent weekend after weekend, and late nights after late night working on this and now it is in it's final stages, the rust proof coat went on this weekend and so did the first color coat. We may not be able to afford the gas that goes in to it, but as TJ says "it'll look drop dead sexy in the driveway!!"
