Donkey Day
Church, tree removal at friends house, day with donkeys. It just doesn't get any better, does it. Dale is a co-worker of TJ and Dale's parents raise mini donkeys. TJ took me out there to see them and of course I had a blast feeding them donkey cookies (graham crackers) and just lovin' on them. They have such sweet personalities and can be some what demanding if you choose to ignore them. There was one who gets very jealous when ignored and she will chew on your shirt, pants, fingers, whatever she can to get your attention. How do you top a day like that? Add some babies, that will be in May/June....I can't wait!!

I want one. But, wait, what do you do with a mini donkey? Is there a big market for them?
Apparently they, the donkeys, will kill wild dogs and coyotes if they get into the herds of cattle, goats, sheep etc. TJ already said it wouldn’t be wise for us to have one or two because then we would need a donkey sitter when we go away on the weekends. Guess he’s right....as usual.
